    Welcome to Athens! Meet your traveling companion in the Airport of Athens. Drive to the Hotel. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

    DAY 2 Athens

    Sightseeing with a local guide and visit of the Acropolis and the New Museum of Acropolis, the Erechtheum, the Theseum, Roman temple dedicated to Zeus, theater of Dionysus, and the Agora where Socrates taught. Our guide will point out the main ancient and modern sites including Hadrian’s arch, the statue of Lord Byron, Constitution Square and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Our tour continues passing the National Gardens, the Panathenaic Stadium, the Academy, the University and the National Library. Optional lunch in Plaka, break for shopping. Optional dinner down-town with traditional folklore show. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

    DAY 3 Athens–Delphi–Athens

    Drive to Delphi where the ancient sanctuary of the god Apollo is. Visit of the Archaeological Site and Museum to admire the Charioteer. On the way back to Athens, you will be informed about Thebes, the setting of Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

    DAY 4 Athens–Corinth–Mycenae–Epidaurus–Athens

    Drive through the Corinth Canal passing outside of the Ancient Corinth, where St. Paul preached. The tour continues with a visit of the Archaeological Site and the Museum of Mycenae to admire the Beehive Tombs, the Treasury of Atreus and the Lion Gate. Short drive to Epidaurus for a tour of it's 2,300-year-old open-air theater. Dinner and overnight in Athens

    After the breakfast transfer to the Airport of Athens and departure.

    DAY 5 Olympia–Delphi

    Through the new bridge of Rion-Antirion, the tour continues to Delphi where the ancient sanctuary of the god Apollo is. Visit of the Archaeological Site and the Museum to admire the Charioteer. Dinner and overnight in Delphi.

    DAY 6 Delphi–Meteora Area

    Drive to Kalambaka with the fantastic landscape of Meteora with its 24 rock-top monasteries. Visit of the Varlaam Monastery and St. Stephen's Monastery with an incredible panoramic view. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

    DAY 7 Meteora Area–Thermopylae–Athens

    Guided visit to Thermopylae, the site of the heroic battle of Leonidas’ 300 Spartans against Xerxes’ Persian army. On the way back to Athens, you will be informed about Thebes, the setting of Sophocles’ Oedipus Rex, and Marathon. Dinner and overnight in Athens.

    DAY 1 Arrive to Thessaloniki, Greece

    Welcome to Greece! Meet your tour guide and enjoy guided sightseeing of the city and churches of Thessaloniki. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

    DAY 2 Thessaloniki-Excursion to Phillipi & Kavala

    The tour continues to the city of Kavala, ancient port of Neapolis, which is built amphitheatrically. Excursion to Philippi, which was named after Alexander the Great’s father, in this place Saint Paul baptized the first Christian in Europe, the “woman by the name of Lydia”. Here you will also visit the prison where Saint Paul and Silas were held. Dinner and overnight in Thessaloniki.

    DAY 3 Thessaloniki–Veria–Meteora Area

    Excursion to Veria. The city of Berroia as mentioned in the Bible, that was St. Paul’s next stop and where he preached to the Jews that were more noble. St. Paul is the Patron Saint of the city of Veria. The tour continues with a visit of the traditional Tribune and the Church of Christ, one of the many churches built during the Byzantine era, when Veria was called the small Jerusalem. Next stop is Vergina, the first ancient capital of the Greek Macedonian Kingdom, to visit the Royal Tombs. Of these tombs, the most important is that of King Philip II, Alexander the Great's father. The tour includes also a visit of the museum where are some of King Philip's most important possessions, including the king's shield and gold-trimmed breast plate. Drive to Kalambaka with the fantastic landscape of Meteora with its 24 rock-top monasteries. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.
